Over the past several months, the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department has continued to expand its capabilities, strengthen its operations, and uphold its commitment to providing professional law enforcement services to the residents of Los Santos County.
As the Department continues to move forward, we recognize the value of experience, leadership, and institutional knowledge. The men and women who have previously served this Department, as well as those who have dedicated themselves to service in other law enforcement agencies, possess skills and experience that can greatly benefit our organization and the communities we serve.
Effective immediately, the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department is accepting applications for both Reinstatement and Lateral Transfer candidates.
Former Department personnel who separated in good standing and wish to return to service are encouraged to submit a Reinstatement Application for review. Likewise, POST-certified peace officers currently serving, or previously employed, with municipal police departments, sheriff's offices, state law enforcement agencies, and other recognized law enforcement organizations are invited to apply through our Lateral Transfer Program.
These programs are intended to attract qualified and experienced personnel who share our commitment to professionalism, integrity, accountability, and public service. Applicants will undergo a comprehensive review process to ensure they meet departmental standards and are prepared to serve the people of Los Santos County.
The future of this Department is built upon the dedication of its personnel. Whether returning to continue a career previously started within our ranks or bringing valuable experience from another agency, qualified applicants will find opportunities to contribute meaningfully to our mission.
